URGENT NOTICE
In order to prevent the rapid spread of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam decides to take following strict measures:
1. Temporarily suspending the entry into Vietnam of all foreigners (including Vietnamese nationals holding foreign passports) coming from or having traveled through Schengen area and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the past 14 days before the intended arrival day in Vietnam.
2. Temporarily suspending the issuance of visas on arrival.
These measures come into force from 12h00 am, 15 March 2020, for 30 days. The above-mentioned measures do not apply to holders of diplomatic or official passports.
Foreigners who are experts, managers of enterprises, high-skilled workers upon entry into Vietnam must undergo medical examination and appropriate prevention and control measures at enterprises and accommodation establishments in accordance with the regulations set by Vietnamese authorities.
3. People arriving from, or within 14 days of entry Vietnam have traveled through countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, China, South Korea, Iran will be transported by Vietnamese authorities to a quarantine center.
4. From 16/03/2020, all passengers on flights to and from Vietnam must wear masks throughout the flight and when entering the airport.
Accordingly, the working time of the Consular Section of the Vietnamese Embassy in the Netherlands will be limited to only the MORNING OF WEDNESDAY.
