Hung Kings' Festival or Hung Kings death anniversary is a Vietnamese festival held annually from the 8th to the 11th of the third lunar month, in which the 10th day is the main festival day.
Together with Pho and spring
roll, Vietnamese sandwich has become so famous and popular in many countries
that it is included as a new word in the American dictionary.
Being a distinctive Vietnamese dish, especially to those who live in the North, Pho is available everywhere, from villages to urban cities, to be sold by street vendors or served at luxurious restaurants.
"Balance" may be
the single word that is commonly used to describe Viet Nam's gastronomy. In
essence, Vietnamese cuisines usually reach the balance of ingredients and

Phong Nha-Ke Bang National

Recognized by UNESCO as a
world heritage site for its values of landscape, geology and geomorphology in
1994 and 2000, Ha Long Bay, located in Quang Ninh province, is a wonderful and
skillful masterpiece of nature.

In the framework of the visit of the Prime Minister of Vietnam to the Netherlands and in preparation for the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations (1973 – 2023) between the two countries, Diplomat Magazine interviews the Ambassador of Vietnam, H.E. Mr. Pham Viet Anh.
Relations between the Netherlands and Vietnam have existed for more than 400 years, when the East India Company's merchant fleet turned to East Asia, explored the market and sourced raw materials. At that time, Vietnam was not the promised land of Dutch trade and Vietnam was not what it is today. Then, after many historical events, Vietnam-Netherlands relations have become increasingly positive, especially in the past two decades, with visits by senior leaders of both countries. Crown Prince Willem Alexander and Princess Máxima have visited Vietnam twice (2005 and 2011). In particular, Her Majesty Queen Máxima also visited Vietnam as the UN Secretary-General's Special Mandate for the Promotion of Financial and Digital Inclusion.
The Embassy of Viet Nam in the Netherlands attended the Embassy Festival which taken place at Lange Voorhout, The Hague on September 3, 2022. This is a prestigious cultural event organized annually by the event organization Prooost in collaboration with the city government of The Hague. After 2 years of the Covid-19 pandemic, this event was attended by nearly 50 embassies and attracted thousands of visitors.
