* BIG NEWS ABOUT THE VIETNAMESE E-VISAS! 
 
Dear travelers,
 
From 15th August 2023, Viet Nam will issue electronic visas (e-visas) to citizens of all countries and territories around the world and increase the validity duration to 90 days, valid for single or multiple entries.
 
It is hereby announced the ONE and ONLY official website for applying Vietnamese e-visa: https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/

PASSENGERS ARE RECOMMENDED TO BOOK THE FLIGHT TICKET AFTER OBTAINING A VALID VISA.​ 

* NOTE 1:
Though related services and facilitation are available, e-visa is the pilot program which DOES NOT COME UNDER THE PURVIEW of the Embassy of Vietnam. In any case, the Embassy IS NOT RESPONSIBLE NOR IS LIABLE for any problem, such as damages, errors, risks, delay…, if they occur.

The Embassy CANNOT AND DOES NOT have the right to approve/issue e-visa or do corrections, modifications, amendment, change of information in the e-visa or check the legitimacy of issued e-visa. * NOTE 2: The Embassy ONLY processes visa applications for holders of national passports with VISA APPROVAL LETTERS issued by the Immigration Department, Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam. Any other travel documents such as documents issued for refugees or national passports without visa approval letters ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
 
* NOTE 3: Visas on arrival (or VOA) are temporarily NOT available.


VISA TO VIETNAM (Only in case you obtained a Visa Approval Letter and only for working and studying visa)

 You are re​quired to ap​ply in-person at the Embassy and to submit the following documents:

1. 01 visa application form download here.doc​

2. Passport with at least 06 months of validity prior to the proposed date of entry into Viet Nam to meet airlines' and immigration requirements).

3. Visa Approval Letter of VID.

4. Photo

5. Visa fees

6. Other supporting documents (if any): copy of visa approval document or provision of visa approval reference number issued by the relevant authority of Viet Nam; invitation letter from sponsor/host etc.

Important notices

* Upon receiving your visa, kindly double check all personal information printed on your visa. In case of inaccurate personal information, please contact the VID or the Embassy immediately for correction or adjustments (fees may be applied for amendments of visas due to applicants's inadvertent errors).

* Duration of stay: visa will be valid from the date of entry provided on your application and printed on the visa. You may enter ON or AFTER the date of entry given on the visa and is expected to leave before the end of the expiration date.

* The Embassy reserves the right to request further information and documentation from applicants and to deny approval for any visa application without necessarily providing explanation for visa denial.

* We do not encourage you to book any air tickets/ hotels beforehand.
