Vietnamese Party chief to attend inaugural meeting of Board of Peace

(MOFA) - (VNA) - State President Luong Cuong on February 23 sent a message of congratulations to Ethiopian President Taye Atske Selassie on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic relations (February 23, 1976 – 2026).

(MOFA) - (VNA) - General Secretary To Lam encouraged Kurt M. Campbell, former US Deputy Secretary of State, to continue serving as a trusted bridge between Vietnam and the US, as well as with the business community and international partners, thereby promoting policy dialogue, providing strategic analysis of global economic, technological and policy trends, and strengthening connectivity between US enterprises and strategic investors with Vietnamese ministries, agencies and localities, particularly in high technology, finance, digital infrastructure and clean energy.

(MOFA) - (VNA) - Party General Secretary To Lam congratulated the US and President Trump on the successful organisation of the inaugural meeting of the Gaza Board of Peace. He affirmed that Vietnam was among the first countries to commit to participating in the Gaza Board of Peace, and stands ready to coordinate with the US and other members of the Board to implement the peace plan.

(MOFA) - (VNA) - It also reaffirms that the Party, State and people of Vietnam always attach importance to strengthening the fine cooperative relations between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Workers’ Party of Korea, as well as between the two States and people of Vietnam and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

(MOFA) - (VNA) - The Party chief expressed his appreciation for and high evaluation of Leahy's enduring and heartfelt contributions over decades to the normalisation, consolidation and development of Vietnam–US relations, particularly in humanitarian cooperation and settlement of war consequences, which have helped enhance mutual understanding and trust between the two countries' people.
